This mod is a real master piece realy enjoy this 1986 season with the billboards.. Ellesse.. Mallboro.. the warm 80,s when I was young. And al that driver helmets Berger, Piquet Senna, Prost thanks!!!!!!!!!
F1 86 and 88 two very good mod. Unfortunately, the TV cam in the 86 mod doesn't like it at all. The view is very bad! Why don't you make the TV cam like in the 1979 mod or like in the 1988 mod? You picture comparison 86 to 79 version. Please modify! https://ibb.co/KLrd0wg https://ibb.co/fqyH03g
Hi all some news here. @doddynco and i we have a lot of private work for this year. The effect is that this project can't go fast. Sorry for that. Anyway, the motivation is still high and the passion will help us to make things the right way. Olivier you are a star mate. It's been amazing to watch these cars develop graphically in your hands. I can't wait to get back into it over the winter and give them the physics and sounds they deserve. I still have a lot to learn, but piece by piece I'm wrapping my head around what needs to be done to make this the 'must have' f1 mod. We will get there my friend !

HI, now after the cars i'm on the tracks graphical revamp. I'm pretty proud of this first pass of monaco 86/88 season updated with pbr shaders. Dedicated to @doddynco as i tell him what i was working on, i hope you like it man Now, still all the other tracks to do lolll Cheers
AAARGH! You asked the question lol To be clear, definitely yes, i will add them when we will release the mod. But, the problem is that i don't have the solution to make it without 3dsmax. And i don't have a version of 3dsmax installed. :s In fact, i have passed too much time searching to create the puddle map and lost a time also because of wrong object properties for some shaders. Now, the shaders are ok. The first pass mean all textures are pbr ready. The second pass will be the ambiant lighting (i just have a global probe for now but places like the tunnel can be better with a local probe ) The last pass will be the road detail map for puddles or dust. The fourth is optional : night lighting Very important for me, if someone can help me to find the way to create rdt map with porgrams like blender, 3dsimed or freeware tools, that would be fantastic and he or she will have my eternal recognition lol Cheers
Hi, just saw this thread. Is this different from the F1 1986 and 1988 Championship Edition on the workshop I was suggested a while back? If so, what are the differences between this and that?
are you still working on the championship edition? how easy it would be to add adjustable boost to the mod itself so i would not have to stupidly save fuel but could drop boost instead on the 1988 turbo cars?
Friends i have an idea! Trollray is so excited about the project! How about if we all collect together and donate something to trollray in a Paypal account so that he can get 3dsmax. this project is a wet dream for every single player. Is just an idea of mine.

Hi guys, sorry for late reply but was working these we in Spa francorchamps for F1 ( Don't tell me how it was bad, i know it already lol ) @FORMULAEFAN71 The championship edition was a "lite" Historical Edition, because i was alone and not able to go deeply enough for the physics. So it wasn't fair to call it HE as it was just some weight and minor stuff changed from original version. (The originila version from @Postipate and @ChiefWiggum was a league edition, so all cars where having same performances. ) Now, with @doddynco we are working on a full historical edition. Hope it's clear for you then @EmperorOfFinland Answer in PM @memoNo1 Many thanks for the support but we are not working for money, just passion. Only a caffee or a beer is ok for us Last but not least, we are working on others work with their permission, so it would not be fair to make money with others work The only help that will be great is that if someone could make the puddle maps or give me the way to do it with blender or whatever solution.
