At Global Endurance Modding, we have recently suffered a big blow as the in-game safety car messed up one of our big events. Because we do want to retain the possibility to send out the safety car, we have chosen to manually drive the safety car. We have successfully tested the procedures earlier tonight, but we have a problem we'd like to resolve. The safety car is currently showing in the standings as one of the participating cars. As we are broadcasting our events, that is far from ideal. Therefore, we'd like to know what we can do to make sure the manually driven safety car doesn't appear in the standings. Most important is the broadcast overlays, but we'd also want it to be excluded in the standings in our live timing (LiveRacers) and results (RF2 Log Analyzer). It should be possible, as the 24h of Le Mans Virtual also had a manually driven safety car during the formation lap, without it being shown in the standings anywhere. We'd like to know how to make this work. Thanks in advance.
It is easy to hide SC in TV overlay when you have only one car class in race. In multi-class it becomes a problem. It would be great to have feature to hide SC from TV or even from results. Some sort of Filter for car that have vehicle name or class name Safety Car.
Yes indeed, that is what we are after. And we are doing a multiclass race, so we need a solution for that.
