Alfa Romeo 147 GTA for rFactor 2 by Slow Motion Modding Group. Build 1.05 - fixed transparency level on windows Build 1.04 - fixed black rain on certain tracks due to wrong rF2 code Build 1.03 - fixed rear disc glow - added rear side of posled visible from cockpit view Build 1.02 - fixed windows and rims shader value for alpha sort Build 1.01 - fixed crossed graphical look of tire compounds Build 1.0 CREDITS to original authors RSDG, converted for rFactor1 by Indiana(SRG) in the 2006, for the Alfa GT-R. The mod has been re-developed in the physics by Chris "redapg" and Slow Motion, "moving" to the Alfa Romeo 2.0 GTA "Cup" class and adding also another class: the racing version of the 3.2lt road (In real life the Alfa Romeo started the project for a racing class powered by the 3.2lt, but never released it). 2D has been updated to IBL/PBR for older skins improving several details, adding also several new skins. Some data of the physics are "fantasy", because of lack of official documentation. Special thanks to Chris "redapg" also for his online tools, very useful (I would say mandatory for the conversion and for the development of the physics) and for his participation to the project. I did some research finding some data related to the GTA (also the road car) and the various races and championships, mainly organized by Peroni in those years. So the mod will be available in 2 classes, one powered by the 2.0lt, that participated to the Alfa 147 GTA "Cup", one powered by the 3.2lt, that was sold in those years and also tuned by Italian guys. There will be several liveries, those released with the original mod, just tuned and updated to the PBR system and few more fantasy ones, that are inspired to the Special liveries of the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA. Don't expect a HiRes 3D, but it is at an acceptable level... Of course physics is totally reviewed and updated to last rF2 code. I'm still trying to contact Oliver aka Indiana, but for now without luck...
Virtual ones are best. I had an Alfasud and though it was marvellous to drive it had a lot of basic flaws like brakes that did nothing in the wet for the first 100m. And the rust!
Fist post has been updated and the build 1.0 is available! Special thanks to Chris "redapg" not only for the great online tools, but for his skill in improving the chassis, the geometry of the mod and the engines, the several fixes to the 3d and the "rain affair"! Enjoy this old car...
I never seen it and I'm not able to replicate it. No idea at all about your problem. You can see the several pictures I posted and everything looks okay, with the exclusion of the graphical compound shown... Looking at your picture I noticed one thing I forgot to update: I crossed the look of the compounds, so slick tire shows rain tire and vice versa. Fixed, build 1.01
just a little update... Build 1.03 - fixed rear disc glow - added rear side of posled visible from cockpit view
first post has been updated with build 1.04 for fixing black rain on certain tracks, due to wrong rF2 code
