Is there a way to un-assign a setup after assigning one?
I know I can edit the favorite setups file and delete it manually.
The only thing I have found that works in game is to delete the setup.
Which is something you might not want to do.

you could always save default setup with name "default" and assign that to the track? it's a workaround and lets you keep the setup that was assigned. no need to delete it.

I wouldn't do that exactly, as if the default setup does change due to an update you'll still have the old one - or even a wonky one if the car setup parameter ranges have changed.

For a workaround I'd do sort of similar: just save to a new temporary filename, assign it, then delete it.

Exactly. (The defaults for the eX Zero changed with it's last release.)

So some sort of shell game with file names is needed.
And yours is a good one :)
    Thx
