Since teh last big update the game is unplayable. My keyboard isn’t recognised, I get blank white screens, if I do get to the menus it takes ages to swap from one screen to another. I have deleted the game and all of it’s files & re-loaded - still the same. All my other steam games & other sims work fine. Really annoying as I like rFactor 2 but can’t play it now….
I've started seeing that as well. blank pages, especially when trying to create new controller profiles. I had to load and save a profile about 4 times before all the changes I had made reached the car on the track. I'd assign a command, save it and many other commands and then test it out. 4 times in a row one or more of those commands didn't work. Did it again, and again. During that process I had at least two major lockups. I always choose fullscreen but that presents a problem, when you press ctrl-alt-del to bring up the task manager, the task manager cannot overlay the rF2 window. I had to log out of windows to escape one of those lockups. Quick edit: I had two instances of rF2, one in steam and one in documents. I removed the documents version and the UI seems to be performing correctly. I won't say this is a solution for others, but mine is back. (the cause, I think, was deleteing and re-installing Steam.)
Is your windows using a "complex" language by any chance? (something with non-arabic letters) There was/is an issue there, might be irrelevant now, just something to check/try.
Thanks Lazza, not that I am aware of? I have quad monitors set up, but only using a single monitor in rF2
