Hi guys, Sorry for the question as it has nothing to do with modding, but hey; "you guys" that do a lot of paint on cars and such are such artists using Photoshop......you probably know the answer best. My question; I would love to "cut out" a person (face) of a picture. I want that part, but as a normal photo, as if the picture was taken with her alone in the shot. Now; there are people in the background surrounding her. The picture is going to be important to me and the family, so I want to do it right. I did such a thing before, years ago, but it showed; it wasn't natural. Is it even possible to do it properly? Making it not show it was cut out? And if so; how do I do that the best way?
Thanks Paulfield! I found a few of those and video's too, but the fact is that when I do it; it doesn't look all that good. So I figured, there must be more to it........I was hoping at least.
I'm sorry guys, but I'm going to need even a bit more help....... It now occurs to me, that the face I need to extract, is pretty plane in color; like there is a ton of foundation on there. There wasn't, but it doesn't look good. Also; the picture was taken with a Samsung Galaxy A10 and is supposed to have a 13 MP camera; why is my picture 272kB than, what am I doing wrong here? Please, if you have the time, give me some pointers; it is important to us.
Thank you Lazza. So I have to look in the phone to try and get the picture out where it isn't compressed, right?
If it saves a high quality version, yes. It might just be that the content of the photo compressed very well (walls etc).
If there is nothing covering any part of the person you would like to cut out it shouldn´t be a problem. If you will send the photo I could do it for you. (Been working with that kind of jobs fulltime since 1987
