Hi I was thinking about medium and soft tires use in offline mode . We know that the AI uses only hard tires in all sessions ( practice, qualification and race) so what is the point of the implementation of the medium/soft tires if the AI itself doesn’t use these tires compounds at all! Personally I would like to use the soft tires, for example, in qualification instead of using always the hard tires.
It is your game. There is no rule that HONOR requires you to match the AI. The AI does not care, and, they don't drive like you.(i.e. constant throttle slipping in corners.) Do what bring you enjoyment!
Using the soft tire in qualification while the AI uses hard tires gives a big advantage. Its 2 seconds of difference in some circuits even more!
I agree with you that AI should change the compounds. But if you know that they are going to use hard tires, why not to use the same tires?
I use only hard compound in all the sessions but I would like to see the AI use soft tires in qualification then hard or medium compound in race.
