Thank you guys for the support. We still have to know if the crazy man has image right on cars made in US. What I found weird is that on his webpage you can see partners. As partners you have actc. Actc is just another juridical person that organize race events and tournaments. There are plenty of racing asociations in argentina using the same models that were actually street legal sold in the country. I still can't undestand how someone could have image property of a ford, chevrolet, dodge and rambler. I mean.. why I got denounced from bundle games/actc.. and not from the ¨Asociación de Pilotos del Centro de la República¨ just to name an example. They are also juridical person who organize racing tournaments with the same models of cars. I can undestand bundle having a contract with actc for exclusive content and trademark... but image/likeness of cars. Seems difficult if not impossible given the cars are not prototypes exclusive to actc.
Hola, como consejo te digo que en steam todo sea ficticio, por ejemplo el nombre del mod, autos y pilotos, por ejemplo .. Chyvo Toro Dogd Fard Es solo un ejemplo tonto pero asi no tendria problemas con ninguna marca, luego la comunidad puede crear un skin pack o algo. Esto es lo que se hizo con el mod de DRM en assetto corsa.
¿Para qué iban a meterse en este tema Steam o S397? Sin ánimo de crear polémica y dejando claro que no defiendo a la gente del juego de TC. Steam y S397 van a ver que hay una empresa que tiene X derechos sobre una competición y que un modder saca un coche sin tener ningún contrato ni licencia con nadie. ¿De parte de quién creéis que se va a poner? ¿Qué beneficio pueden sacar por ponerse a favor del modder? No van a obtener ningún beneficio. En cambio sí que se pueden enfrentar a un problema de licencias. ¿Para qué van a arriesgarse? Lo único que puede pasar es que acaben cerrando la cuenta del modder, así que cuanto menos remováis el tema, mejor. Usa nombres de coches que no sean reales y pasa desapercibido. No armes lío, que va a ser peor.
Si me cierran la cuenta y sirve para saber el alcance de su licencia.. Bienvenido sea. Alguien tenía que hacerlo. Hasta ahora nadie lo hacía porque no había modelos 3D de fuente autorizada.
Sí. Está claro. En cualquier caso, siempre puedes publicar los coches en alguna web de referencia. Igual el amigo @Corti te puede echar una mano en eso.
De lo que puedes estar seguro es que hay mucha gente esperando coches de competiciones argentinas (aunque imagino que eso ya lo sabes). Va a dar igual dónde los publiques. Los que estén interesados, los van a encontrar.

Thats what I did with 2s3dprinting. Ask for permission to use their models ingame. Built uv maps, materials and textures and good to go. I suppose I forgot the owner of Ford Chevrolet Dodge who lives un Argentina apparently.
Just ask the guy if he authorize the use of their models for an rf2 mod.. And he does. This are great because they've got interiors, rollcage etc. Later on I Will check the models in blender to see how they would go. Nice find corti. Thank you!!

That model is made in Rhino, unusable in any game because it has like 1million polygons. I have the Formula car and the Ford Ka by him. ANYWAY i would like to see this go through because i was already planning in making the notBalcarce track and maybe others.
