How do I uninstall the finished series? I have tried with ModMgr, but when I open rfactor2 it reinstalls them
...I think he might mean all of the ‘series’ entries created when you join an online server - specific combinations of cars/tracks. The ones that make finding the ‘All cars and tracks’ entry so hard to find.... Nothing to do with content - just the act of joining a server - you used to clear them out in the old UI easily.
I can confirm it. I deleted 3 mas and manifest Files of the Tatuus Series manually and after starting the Game, 2 of them got reinstalled. So it seems to be something on that the User has no Influence on. I also never have seen any Possibility to "unsubscripe" from a Competition. From my Point of View, that Possibility has to be there too. If i can join something, i also should be able to leave it.
like Woodee said, if you go in the workshop > subscribed item, you'll find the series and you can unsubscribe from there.
The series are hosted on workshop I believe which is why I said what I said. That is why it keeps reinstalling itself because it's not unsubbed.
@Woodee Yes, you are right. But that is one Thing, why many People complain about rFactor 2. It is unnecessary "laborious" in some Aspects. When i subscribe to something in the UI, i would expect that i also can unsubscribe there, don't you agree?
I suppose that the 1st Tatuus vMod was not in the Workshop at all, because deleting it manually did work. But the other 2 have been in the Workshop. "Winter Series" ?? and another one. Sorry i didn't write down their Names.
You need to go to the workshop, then Browse -> Subscribed items. Then you need to go through some pages until you find them. At least, that's what I just had to do. Searching doesn't work by the looks.
Perfect, I have looked for them like this, I have unsubscribed and when launching rfactor it has automatically uninstalled. Thanks
