Game not launching

Hi all,

I'm having an issue with RFactor 2.

The game used to work, and it stopped functioning after a game update.

The issue is quite simple, when I launch RF2, the launch process is initiated and I can see the loading screen but it never goes through. The game is not even crashing, it just simply doesn't load and stops running.

I uninstalled the game, reinstalled it, removed the user data folder, removed all workshop content... it simply fails to work.

@Damien Mauric Try installing the runtimes in Support\Runtimes. All 4 of them.

What is a trace file?

You would create a trace file, then attach it here. It may indicate the issue, it may not. Did you try those runtimes?

guys i have the same issue. tried reinstalling,run the runtimes ,deleted player files but still doent boot.i am leving the trace her if someone can help. thanks in advance.

 

You really should make a new thread, rather than jump on this one, and give more information. That said, the trace says your video config is invalid. Have you run the video config tool?

Is this a new install?
