Thank you for these two great cars, eager to try them! Just one question: Why didn't you put both cars in one package e.g. a SGT500 rfcmp? I mean, there is probably no one that actually wants to have just one of these two cars
ISR public server open, added Nissan GT500. The first circuit of the 2013 championship ... Okayama many thx for this guys
The mod's really good, the only issue I can find is that that AI seems to overdrive the cars in to tighter turns, usually meaning the AI S397 GT-Rs break away from them

We've used these cars once already in clubracing at RaceDepartment, and will use them again this Friday. This time we'll do what SuperGT couldn't do in 2020, night-racing at Sepang. One thing I noticed when testing however, is that the S397 Nissan, and the GT3-cars from S397 (we run it as proper SuperGT with GT500 and GT3(00)) has a better view in the dark when using cockpit-cam. While the two URD/AS cars have a noticeable difference from cockpit and hood-cam. Where the hood-cam have a much brighter and easier time than the cockpit-cam.
Nice to hear There's very little difference from cockpit-cam to hood-cam with the S397 stuff, while it was noticeable enough to be a slight disadvantage to race in cockpit with your GT500. We will still use it though, it's peoples choice if they want to do GT500 (most popular) or GT3 in our races
Haha, well. We don't limit what cam people can use. I find it impossible to use hood-cam, but that's me
After learning for my exams today I decided to get behind my wheel, so I gave the most recent AMS2 update a shot. Tried the Porsche Cup Car at Nords and lasted two laps until I got fed up with the wierd physics and FFB, let alone the AI that got piled up at Fuchsroehre during the practice outlap, so I kind of ragequit and decided to boot up rF2 after I gave it a break after my recent complaints. So I booted it up, waited for all the mods to be verified and did the dishes in the meantime. So I finaly decided to gave those two beauties a spin at Okayama expecting nothing big after I have been subscribed to them for a couple of weeks. I setup a session, was kind of annoyed with the opponent filter (high 5 S397) until I had the bright idea to look for GT500 in the filter section. So I set up a 30 min. qualy session with a 20 minute race, 30 AI with a nice mix of the official GT500, these two cars and a few Apex GT3 cars. For anyone wondering, those cars are the right fit as the official cars are more recent spec. Turns out, that I had a blast, with the AI at 100%, nothing chaotic happening and the multiclass stuff working perfectly on such a tight twisty track. This goes out to those people constantly saying that rF2 AI is useless, that the game runs and looks shit and that you need to tweak it to death to get out of the pitbox or that all the good stuff is behind a paywall. This experience remindend me once again why I still have to fire it up once in a while. You don't get this anywhere else with that fidelity and depth: A bit of feedback as I only tested the Honda so far: the car looks nice in general, but there seems to be an issue with the reflections compared to the Apex cars and the official car from certain angles, as if the body work gets mat (for the Honda and the Lexus alike) the little coolings slits over the wheels are transparent and you can see through them from the cockpit view the side mirrors could use a few more polys for my taste, but that's propably just me there seems to be a looping sound at low revs (could be the breakes or something like that?) Other than that I enjoyed it alot, so thank you very much. If you keep polishing it, maybe balance the AI a bit more performance wise and if the community starts adding some GT300 skins for 2013 this could be a no brainer for anyone looking for some Super GT action. And all for free
