A good rule for a server (or at least what im looking for when trying to find a multiplayer server)

- the name should show which cars are used.
- only official/steam content (hating downloading from server, it creates a mess.)
- no AI

 

I made one public server on my linux machine.
"Gonzo FUN GT3 SPA NUERBURG"

I aim for short practice, short races and some "quick fun" with this.
I added a weather plugin for live-weather.
Auto-Download works, it has gigabit connection.
No aids, 10 laps race, no warmup, 10 minutes practice.

i would do a hand full more of such servers, feel free to send some suggestions.

 

I just set up another one with f1 2004, spa, malaysia, monaco, etc. called "Gonzo FUN F1 2004"

 

and another one "Gonzo FUN F1 90s" with a lot of 90s F1 Cars and tracks

 

- password (for private servers) should be remembered

 

feel free to make a thread about some nice server configurations and i ll set another one up for this.
I d like to have some very easy to use server which does many quick fun events in row for people to quickly joint and enjoy racing without it been closed in race session for too long and without too many tracks installed to keep download times down.

 

Porsche gt3 cup or alpine cup+gt4 server with portland, loch drummond, brands hatch gp, and other small tracks.

"IMSA" content following season. S397 DPi, Lmp2, GTE, GT3R.

 

Just send me over concret cars and tracks
Cars + Tracks (maximal 5)
Porsche sounds good
then i ll create the mod and set up the server.
