I can the CMD code I always use to check for updates on my rented server and it found one today and installed it. However it didn't change the version number shown. It stayed at 1122. When we try to connect, the join button it greyed out. Of of my drivers said he could get on, earlier by rolling back his PC to ver 1122. I'm not sure where to even find my local version in the new UI. Where is it? Is there a new method to get updates I am not aware of?
Got it figured out. The text file I have used for some time to do the updates and ran from the SteamCMD folder is this: steamcmd +login anonymous +force_install_dir ../rFactor2-Dedicated +app_update 400300 +quit I found my server host had a batch file in the game folder that spelled out the update folder path explicitly: cd ./SteamCMD steamcmd +login anonymous +force_install_dir C:\Games\rFactor\rfactor2-dedicated +app_update 400300 +quit When I ran that bat file, it updated the server to 1123.
