    Hi all of you,
i was away from some weeks and i had to reinstall my rig.
I use a fanatec 2.5 wheel base with v3 pedal and shifter.

As i had some problemswith configuration menu when reusing my wheel in rf2; i made the update of the drivers. (As it should be done of course ;) )

    Now i feel it strange.
Some settings have changed also like the brake force that now act more like an abs.
I have put it on low ( the lowest setting ) to have a more direct brake pedal.

But the big deal is that i have a sort of damping effect in the wheel now.
It gives resistance of the wheel that suppose to simulate the weight i guess.
But i don't like it very well or have you some info on that?

    Thanks for the help
    Cheers

Check drift value on the wheel, I play with -2, you shouldn't go lower than this. When you update driver, all values are reseted to factory defaults.

    Thanks @Tomislav Leskovic .
Yes, i have test it and it has an impact.
The strange thing is that i was on -2 before update but now i reallly feel it better on +3.
so new updatehave a deep impact.
Didnt test it enough for now to mesure how much or if its better or not.
Im surprised than none is talking about it on forum
    Cheers

    Hi
When the drivers are updated, the steering wheel settings are reset. If the previous version was too old and you've updated to the latest version, this changes the behavior of the DRI setting.
Try putting the DPR and SPR values to 0. The brake setting is BRF in my CSW v2.
    ;)
