So I'm trying to create 2 more garage spots to have a 62 car grid for Le Mans as was for the 2019 edition. I tried creating 2 more garage spots and another pitbox but got the error "Valid pit location is missing some valid garage locations" when saving the AIW the new spots don't appear in the AIW. Any ideas?
Assuming that you are trying to edit modded Le Mans track, not official rF2 DLC track. You could try following: In AIW editor, after adding those garage- and pit spots, go to "unsupported/test options". Execute "reset special waypoints" and save the AIW. Exit the track to game's main menu, reload the track, enter the AIW editor and save the AIW again. Then exit to game main menu, reload the track and see if those garage spots are now there.
It's the DLC S397 Le Mans. I can get it into moddev but had the above issue. I'll try your idea. Thanks
