if uninstall rf2 from steam to do a fresh install does steam remember which workshop items i have subscribed to?
Yes, it doesn't change your subscriptions, you'll download them all again. Note that if you remove (or move to somewhere else) all the folders in your rF2 install, except the Installed folder, then verify rF2 files in steam, you'll have just as fresh an install as a complete reinstall, with only 5% of the download.
