Hi, guys, I would like to stream rFactor2! I would like to use the original overlay from Sector397. But he does NOT show it in the stream. What am I doing wrong?
You MUST follow these instructions. Its not ALL perfect but you will get 80% there. https://docs.studio-397.com/users-guide/broadcast-overlays
We have the Broadcasting-Tool running so far. But there is a Major Problem with the Countdown>Play Video>Intro Module! If we tried to use this Module the Countdown is telling down to 00:00 and switch to the Play Video, but we are only getting a "Red Screen" and it stays in that screen and did not switch over to the Intro. Is there any way to get this working? Greats
To be honest I have not got that to work either. It may be that the Video needs to be the correct Res and be a certain file type or size ?? They have not documented anything about it so its just a matter of trial and error. I assume you have entered the file name of the video correctly in the Config file.
It doesn't matter which video to use. After the countdown is over, a red screen appears! With me it is exactly as Krampus described it......
It looks like the Boys at SRP (Sim Racing Peru) have it working. Maybe ask them directly. https://fb.watch/1H43gK3oUp/
We at virtualracing.org also use the new broadcast tool/overlay. And the Play video thing sometimes work, sometimes not. So there must be an issue. @Marcel Offermans @Christopher Elliott @Ruben Correa Alves
could someone share how they got it working? any specifics? This guessing game is killing me. I thought I was buying a Race simulator and not the greatest set of mysteries known to man.
Where does that explain why the mp4 videos play in the browser version and not the in game? And then only sometimes? And the specifics of the replays? I just about have them figured out but it has taken since last summer. You really think I haven't poured over that document? Or tore apart the jar? Or learning how to use chromes inspection tool? The info I need is not in that document, Iagg, but thank you for the lazy mans answer.
Perhaps you should drop the attitude with those that are clearly just trying to help you? They aren't mind readers and don't know what you have tried so far. So how about treating other forum members with a bit of respect if you actually want their help k?
I never do from people who assume everyone else is stupid instead expecting the best from others. Thanks for your help too. Another with 2 cents but no help. And to think I enjoyed your videos.
No one was assuming you were stupid, just posting links to try and help... but all you did was throw that back in our faces for no reason. If you want respect from other members perhaps not talk to them in such a disrespectful way?
Seems so I found the solution: Don't use the ingame overlay, deactivate it! Only use the browser overlay in your broadcast software (e.g. OBS).
