This is just something I worked on for a bit. Just a very simple list of all rF2's servers. List includes most information that's available - player counts, bot counts, current track, IP/Ports, Build the server is using. Also joining is available directly from list if you want. Limitations: API does not report if the server is password-protected. API does not report the mod/cars the server is using. Hopefully Studio 397 can improve the API output, that might allow me to show some more data. It isn't very pretty, but hey, it's quick and simple. If you have any suggestions how could I improve this, please let me know. The list is available here. Enjoy!
^Yeah I was thinking about sorting. Not sure how effective it would be and how difficult it would be too. But I'll have a look into it later on.
UPDATE: Sorting is added. You can sort by Current players online, Bot amount, Maximum amount of players allowed, Game Build. Not the nicest way and it's barely anything, but it is something, while still being simple.
Hi @mantazzo Very useful list, thank you. Could it be possible to sort by Server name and/or Server IP? And could it be possible to add filters?
the link is not showing which mods, hence my question, if it is possible to get those info added to the list if available some where. Its a drag when connecting to a server and then it uses a mod I dont have or it keeps downloading something im not interested in for 10+ minutes. but then I read first post again and can see api dont support mod/cars, shame.
Ping might be doable, but that would require gathering the IP you have connected from, and then pinging every single server... Probably not worth it. Search - I mean, you can simply use Ctrl+F combo and start entering the name, and it will show you everything However, I suppose I could add in a search box and a selection of Name or Track. We'll see.
Tiny update - I have added a link to the Gitlab project at the bottom of the page - it's an easy way to show how this works. You can check out the Gitlab here.
Thank you for this, it works very good. I like how you can join the server from the link. What is the column on the far right for? For example "CMD: +multiplayer +connect 13.54.25.106:64297", what is it's use? Cheers.
The line can be used when launching the game's exe directly (either using command line, or shortcut, or whatever other method there is which is not Steam) and it just allows to launch the game and immediately connect to server. Hopefully that answers your question.
