Game crashes after startup

[SOLVED] Just purchased the game today, and was looking forward to play. However when I open it, 10 seconds later it just crashes.

Pc Specs: RTX 2060 / I5 9600K

Update: I have already reinstalled it 2 times, still doesn't work. I have verified the game files integrity and still doesn't work. and the error message it gives me on the error file is this one: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

 

Update: Created an HDD partition and installed the game there, it now boots up. However i can't select any car or track to drive.

 

I was having this same problem, then re-installed and now the game refuses to work at all.

 

Quite a shame it is that bugged, was really excited about playing it when I got it, now im just sad about it having so much problems.
Had hear some quite good stuff about the game, however for me it has only been a mess. Couldn't get the chance to play it yet.

 

Start with the old UI in beta settings. That is the only way to start rFactor2

 

So what is the point of the update? And I have seen people playing with the new UI in this forum.

 

Try installing all the runtimes of ..\rFactor 2\Support\Runtimes\ (32 and 64 bits)

 

Already did it, I am now trying to run it with the old ui and it says an error code of [JSON] failed to perform operation, unsupported type.

 

after yesterday's update rfactor 2 does not start, if I go back to beta v1121 rfactor 2 works again

 

UPDATE: I solved all the issues.

First of all I created a partition in my HDD dedicated to rF2, after so, created a steam dir there, and progressed to install the game there.
After all that I installed all the runtimes.
It started giving me the error [JSON] failed to perform operation, unsupported type which I fixed by deleting player.json
I can now play with the new ui and the game hasn't crashed yet.
Don't yet know if I can play multiplayer as I have not yet tried it.
