    v1.03

    - Updated Roads to work with latest material developments
    - Updated Vegetation to latest material developments
    - Reviewed Grass bumpiness
    - Fixed some objects tagged as Hat that shouldn't have been.
    - Roughed up inside the curbs at the fast chicane
    - Added a dedicated material which makes there more resistance on the grass to stop cutting (just on the polys next to the chicane)
    - Fixed Fence/Tent lodding issues at Final Corners

    Well it certainly looks great, though I find it impossible now to remember what was different in the previous iteration.

    All improvements to the world's greatest Formula Vee track always appreciated!

    An amazing visual upgrade. Thank you to the staff at S397 for the update; keep up the great track work.

    rF2 is really looking as great as its physics & FFB nowadays.

    Visuals are amazing, but Porsche GT3 cup have broken AI in the last fast chicane when hitting the curbs, unraceable.

    The LMP3 Norma's loved that high speed chicane. A little drifting side to side as they weaved thru. I used to have the dickens of a time driving the Norma. (due to GT3 over-use methinks) But since I've been playing with Mantasig's and Woochoo's endurance mode, plus other classic mods, I seem to be not overdriving as much.

    Nice update Studio397. Just finished a 2hour40minute multi-class IMSA style race. Only issues I had were, ai having some difficulty dealing with lapped traffic and all classes of cars spinning out on the last set of curves prior to the front straight.

    Haven't been able to load Portland after update won't go past 6% on loading screen:
    error message:

    gMotor 2 Error

    Error loading global material FOLIAGE_TREESA

    Before I posted a support ticket thought I would see if any of the usual suspects of helpful and knowledgeable forum members might be able to help.

    Happens on both new and old UI, VR or monitor other tracks seem to load fine. I've unsubscribed and resubscribed cleared shaders and Cbash. selected gfx card in config. deleted player.JSON to regenerate new one and verified files integrity. System i5 8400 and GTX 1070ti.

    Have you got an older version or even a different version of the track installed? If so remove that and try again.

    Make sure you are also running the latest version of the sim, You get there in Steam by chosing to use the New UI or OPT OUT of the public beta. If you click on any of the numbered versions, you are not using the latest.

    Thanks for the reply's gents. Checked everything packages folder etc. no other or older versions only latest 1.03. Tried another couple unsubscribes and subscribes same 6%, same error. Oh well plenty of other awesome tracks to race in the mean time. With rFactor 2 seeming to be a living breathing organism at times I'm sure theres a windows update or something thats put it in a grumpy mood and all will be sorted soon enough.

    Which version of windows are you running? Are you on the latest version of the game - you need to be on latest. Are your graphics drivers up to date?

    Thanks for the reply Alex. Yes was latest version and everything was up to date except I noticed that windows had a Features update to version 20H2.

    Cautionary tale for other users incoming: Clicked on it and when I came back to check on it found out I was one of the lucky winners of the Windows Update Lottery and Was greeted with the infinite boot loop of death. Start..Undoing changes made to your computer (screen)..shutdown...rinse and repeat. Hope nobody else on here wins the lottery and they're smarter than me and have external backup files. After a day and a half of scouring the net and trying everything possible to restore and fix it had to bite the bullet and start from scratch with a fresh windows install.

    On the bright side I sure did clear up a lot of space on my memory card and will have a nice clean system when the fun of reinstalling and setting everything up again is done.

    Heard great things about Portland can't wait to try it and to be driving again in rFactor 2 (sorry for the rant but kept it on topic at the end;))

    Pit space 01 on the pit is badly arranged.
    Every time an Ki comes from the paddock it drives into my parked car ??
    I'm standing exactly in the red frame.
    Every Ki drives you in the rear as soon as it comes from the paddock.
    Please modify!
