The GT4 project has taken more free time to be honest but the Ginetta is mostly done for now. It's more texture work from now on and issues with the lights I still could not fix.

I'm searching for beta testers: https://discord.gg/QVC9XeM[IMG]

Today I have split the wheels in two parts, Rubber compound and Rims like it should be. Just did a test with the new DX11 shaders, notice the depth in the Michelin logo on the tyres :) (Rims will be added later today)[IMG]

Added some rubber particles to the rubber Bump Map. Seems more realistic and used slick alike :) Me likey

Been working again on the source mapping to get perfect straight lines. A bit extra time consuming but worth it for skinners afterwards. I make their life more easy :) [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Notice the difference with the above post on the pink square. It's not a rectangle anymore.[IMG]

Last parts coming in, just because I love it we added very detailed 3d like a logo remake (just open the image and zoom in on the front of the hood), bolds and other stuff :) Nick (Advanced Simulation) gave great help on the front lights, led and mirror things I was not able to do myself (too less info found to understand and I should lost many hours with headages) So thanks to him we are weeks faster for a possible release! Yeehaa :) [IMG]

I can smell the tyres :) A huge thumb for Nick (RSS modding / Advanced Simulation Modding) for helping me out on some skilled levels. But here is the "almost finished" result.:cool::cool:

:D We still have to complete the wiper, antenna, interior, updated steer and some very precise interior parts.

Aside from this we noticed my design of the steering was not perfect (Led lights not like real life). This was before: [IMG]

Yesterday I made fresh 3D (WIP) -> I still need to remap the wheel now but you can see the new leds. [IMG] [IMG]

If the physics are at the same level of the 3D this is going to be awesome! Great job.

I had a few struggles with the led lights but I am happy Nick fixed them in no time :)

In case you missed it the car is out on Steam!

A huge thanks to @Nick9320 for the help and guides into a pro direction and reworks he made for miss Ginetta. Also Thanks Alex (Studio 397 for a setting tip on the lights)

This was my first car project ever for RF2 and I hope you guys enjoy it. I think it's a great addition for the Rfactor pro racers <3

    Quote from LINK:

After spending nine months on it, learning almost everything during the process, we are finally ready for release. The 3D model was built from scratch by Valjouss and later adapted and perfected by Frederick Alonso from GEM and Nick9320 from Advanced Simulation. They also worked day and night for the past months to create the best possible textures, applying the latest shaders to perfection, apply animations and lighting and make sure every part of the car looks as good as it can be.

All sounds were edited by Frederick Alonso, using high quality samples from real footage of this car, the AER engine and the X-Trac gearbox sounds (by Nick) to give the car an authentic sound.
