@mantasisg it's not just about looks though. The physics can react badly to driving over gaps in the mesh, in an unrealistic way. This is as much about compliance in the vehicle as about the track, but until the damage model is improved that's what we have.
Hello pilots, for information, 4 servers are available, on the VFR, I put the 1954 + Alha Romeo 33 endurance mod, hard password request, thank you. https://classic-simracing.forumactif.com/t20-projet-challenge-targa-florio-1954

fantastic track, just tried it for the first time. And with an old A110s Hill climb version. Great fun until my G27 broke a holder :-D
Do you guys memorize the track or go with the flow? Well I have to drive it couple of times and my simhub trackmap will recognize it and give the map to help look a couple of turns ahead. But it sure have some great turns and fun dynamic roads, full joy. Looking forward to fix my wheel tonight to take it for another spin.
I go with the flow and try to look as far as I can, that fear you drive all along the track is a great extra to the experience.
I only know parts of it.... but there are parts I always seem to forget. I tend to try and remember the signage which tells me what type of turn is coming up.
Je commence à connaître la piste au moins 50 tours avec plein de voitures différentes, c'est super !!
yes ! : https://classic-simracing.forumactif.com/t22-projet-challenge-targa-florio-1973-1975 https://classic-simracing.forumactif.com/t20-projet-challenge-targa-florio-1954
After 10-14 laps I have already done I still completely forget at least two turns per lap. Only after most of the track became familiar it revealed its flow. Otherwise there is no flow, unless you drive slowly enough. Crashing and keep going is not a flow. It is a bit unfortunate realising that not that many simracers will drive this enough to fully reveal it. It feels like it just begins after ~10 laps. P. S. It would be epic to have co-pilot for first few laps lol and if you are using virtual map you are doing simracing wrong, especially targa.
there are more than 700 turns but there will be only 25/30 which are tricky, once the brain has recorded it is easier and we approach with an adapted speed and it becomes an Italian recital or melody in a sporting ballad with Mediterranean scents .....
you should create a patreon account, and everyone who wants an update version will donate per month will have the exclusive access, look at x4fab from AC and his patreon, just for Content Manager and Shadow patch, he earns 3200 $ per month https://www.patreon.com/x4fab. If the plan is to add PBR new shaders, bumps, and better textures, sure I will donate a lot of money.
New update here (please uninstall older version): http://www.internationalsimracing.com/forum/index.php?topic=2795 Changelog v0.26 (2020-11-24) - Fixed folder/mas structure, default weather is now working. - Added new Haze values to GDB file. - Road sign & stone are a little heavier now.
Began reconstructing main road surface for preparing real road. Near 1900 track pieces, not sure how long it will take to finish.
