How do I adjust a different temperature between the air / environment and the track on a dedicated server? I have already seen this difference on some servers, but as I am new to RF2 I don't know how to do it!
It is the same as the weather temperature. If you use the weather plugin the temperature is controlled by the plugin but the asphalt temperature would be set in that window
Track temperature is static in physics and cant be changed. The temperature that you set up in either singleplayer or on the server is air temperature.
What @Kevin van Dooren said, but they are reported as the same (in game, and to plugins). So track temperature will appear to follow (match) ambient, but as far as the physics goes (tyre temperature loss to the track) the track temperature never changes.
Well, the temperature that is configured in the server is the temperature of the track in the game and that of the plugin is the ambient temperature. About the physics nothing was said in the entry post, I am a bad pilot and I don't know much about telemetry either, but I leave you the configuration of an IsR server with these parameters. In case you want to test the physics
Well, it is daytime in Istanbul, the temperature has risen a bit compared to last night. As you can check the temperature of the track is still the one that has been set in the dedicated server while the ambient temperature matches that of the plugin in real weather.
