I'm interested in the 3080 but not for rF2 on 5760x1080 (1080p triples) because rF2 is already maxed out and solid 60fps on my 1080ti system.
Going to wait for prices to settle and also what AMD release.

Pitty the reviews have been delayed until tomorrow. From what I have seen so far the biggest beifits will be at higher resolutions

It’s a great time to be sitting on the fence
I have felt for about the las 8 years that advancements in PC hardware have been dull , RTX on the 20xx series was a disaster

AMD are announcing/releasing their new gpu’s next month ( October ) , nvidia have done a small price drops during an AMD release in the past , AMD could have a few surprises too would be nice to see more competition but either way happy times & the more choice the better

Well it seems NVidia will no longer be selling the RTX 3000 series cards direct anymore. If you now want to but one then you have to buy from Best Buy in the US and as yet no official supplier in Europe

On launch day, I managed to put the 3090 in my basket twice, but checkout failed both times and then there was no stock. There was a good window for buying a PC from Best Buy with a 3090 installed, but I had already purchased a new PC, so figured that was a waste. My old GTX 1080 was doing fine in the new PC, but then it died 4 days later (sigh).

I'm desiring the 3090, preferably factory overclocked, because of triple 4k monitors. It's going to be a long winter waiting for a 3090 to be in stock!

Frustrating , I’m guessing around later January time when things settle & stock will start sitting in the stockist assuming another few batches are released before & AMD don’t have major stock problems with big navi

I think nvidia also also said something along those lines. It will probably be relatively obtainable early next year
