At the recent VEC race i experienced that the engine would stall, with 100% throttle, lifting the clutch quickly in 1st gear. Please also note this was in the rain. How can a 500 HP race car, in the rain, with rain tyres, 100% throttle, stall in 1st gear?
its same for other cars i own rsr and 488 gte. if you release the clutch too quickly the car will stall.
they changed the engine inertia settings for several of the GTE cars and the Oreca. Makes them VERY difficult to get going. Can you calibrate the clutch pedal to have a wider engagement point? I have ignored that aspect apparently.
it is probably related to this: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/gte-engine-inertia-bug.64593/ if it is indeed related, then is a known issue (at least from the users perspective) since almost 1 year
I do not think it is a mistake, rather it is real, a competition car is very difficult to put in motion, the engine has a lot of power after certain rpm but below those rpm the engine will not respond. You must solvate the clutch 30% and when the car gains momentum, release it to the end
