i would use them IRL. but in simulator such as RF2 where resources are limited and user PC are not that high end i would rather have devs more focused on other car simulations aspect e.g aero, chassis behaviour, tyres.
I don't use them in RF2 at all.
BTW i'm not against electronic technology simulation such as hybrid, electronic differential management, active aero, active suspension etc
My point is get the core physics related to handling correct of given car then if there are free resources THEN only simulated 10 levels of TC and ABS etc.
ACC did good job on simulating TC and ABS of different cars(all the cars have actually different simulation of TC and ABS that to for different levels) but the core handling has big issues.

If I feel like they are needed and will provide benefit and car will still be a joy, or perhaps even more joyfull then of course. Some cars are designed with TC and ABS in mind, and usually if they are simulated correctly they might not feel right with these systems not used, like for example in non-optimal conditions and with tires worn out or in wet.

I Think that cars that have them irl should have them, And it would then be up to the individual as to whether they use them or not. And cars that don't have them irl should not have them as an option.

I think the option of Low, Medium & High should be removed from the options screen altogether, And stick with initial adjustment in the car setup screen, and then if the car in question has adjustability on the dashboard, then key's/buttons should be mappable.

This for me me would add to the immersion.

If the cars have them in real life I use them. If they don't, I don't use them.

I use TC low and ABS low, but they should only be available if IRL car have it.

In this case turn TC and ABS off in the options and only use them in the garage on the electronics page, if the car hasn't got it IRL it will be greyed out in the garage.

@U. Daniel oh didnt know that, thx.
I have always wondered why there was two places to define TC/ABS.

    If they’re available, they’re on.

go quicker with them on, and that’s the idea of racing. Go quick.

Personally I regret that in recent motorsport, there are driving aids.

It's personal of course, everyone has their own opinion on the subject.

So obviously I don't like the driving aids in the sim.

At the moment, following the big improvements/updates of the GTE and GT3, I use almost only these cars.

I believe new AND old GTs are my favorite type of racing car.

Honestly, these small twenty cars are extremely interesting to drive WITHOUT these aids (for those who are not against deactivating them).

I am not an exceptional driver, but a few days ago, without the driving aids and with the setup at 100% by default, I achieved with a GT3 (I do not remember which one) a time of 8:41:XXX on the Nurburgring Combined, which I think is pretty good (despite the lack of aids and standard setup).

I love the absence of these aids on these cars.
