option to increase sharpening of graphics, others may like this but it's very helpful for VR users

Sorry to quote from another sim but this is a good explanation :

"A new graphics option to adjust Sharpening Strength has been added This is very helpful for Virtual Reality users, as it enhances edges and reduces blurriness."
Pretty sure a subsequent update exposed it directly in the UI as well"

    Thanks for reading

Isn't there a setting for sharpening already? I think there was in player.json maybe.

Sharpening filter for VR is the feature I'm hoping the most to get implemented in rF2. When I tried an external sharpening filter (sweetfx) with AC in VR it was like the resolution of my Oculus Rift got enhanced by factor 2!

It is important for racing sims because objects and road in the distance get a lot clearer.

Yeah I agree, would be a welcome feature. iL-2 BoX has a sharpening feature which works really well to see & read the instrument panels of plane clearly in VR.

So does that work with VR, does that mean it is in there for screen users? If so where is it in the json file?

    It’s great for VR
Maybe would look over sharp on a monitor

Hopefully this option will come to Rfactor2

Please S397, consider adding a sharpening filter to rFactor 2. This would make VR graphics a lot better with minimal resource usage.

Doesn't the sharpening filter from both nvidia and AMD, tuneable directly in their drivers, work for VR...?
