    Maybe this is alrady posted?
For endurance racing would it be a great tool if we could save 2-3 used tyre sets in the garage, especially to get better long run setups.
Would atleast give rF2 something that all the rest dont have... :)

Yes, please! Would be awesome to be able to share it around like a real road file so we can practice with different tyre wear.

AMS1 has something like this when using "limited number of tyres sets" rule.
The already used tyres can be chosen again, but with their certain level of wear.

It's more difficult than it seems.
The state of the wear of a tyre in rF2 is not a unique state.
The tyre is a mesh made of multiple quads and every quad has its properties and therefore, it's wear.
I think that in offline could be easier to save the wear of every tyre when you go to pits or hit ESC, because the time consumed in this wouldn't be critical.
I think that the problem appears in how to synchronize that amount of data in online, between the server and every car, without provoking stuttering or lag.

You just moved it to the back of a very very very long line of " Should not be hard" to fix items. Estimated time frame(based on current progress...4+ years)

@Niissee posted a number of times, but the last may have been several years ago so fair play :p

"Resuming" a replay may help continuing with already worn tyres
