The 2016 RUSA was quite good but this is honestly another level, from trackside details to road texture, the bits of grass, etc.
And the 2016 had a annyoing hole on the main straight that sent major jolts to my DD, this one is great.

With RA being my home track, this is by far the most accurate version out there, at least from a TSO and out side the track experience. While I have taken a bicycle on the track, I have not taken a car on it yet.

Lilski (AC creator) and Digga and Shumi (Converters) has done an amazing job with it.

This was the best one I tested, really at the level of the paid tracks

Great job. In VR, most time I have 70-80 FPS but in some point it drops to 40fps even in private practice. NeedS better optimization.

I am not a fan of the track itself, but there certainly is a quality about it, it is clean and well prepared, much like Watkins Glen to me. Well prepared mod by experienced group of moders.

I like that the essential track layout hasn't changed since it was built in the '50s. The original pavement lasted into the '80s (and maybe got repaved a second time more recently?). Modern curbing was installed at some point along with some alternate layouts, but the track is still the same width, has the same hills, etc. Possibly only Willow Springs has also managed to escape alteration after all these years.

Lime Rock, Mosport, and Mid-Ohio have changed width since they were built; Road Atlanta, Sebring, Daytona, Portland International Raceway, Laguna Seca, and Pacific Raceways have all changed the layout; Mosport, Mt. Tremblant, and Road Atlanta have changed elevations.

Hmm, on reflection, Sears Point still has the original layout available, but I don't know if the width changed.

Sears CAN run the original layout, but Nascar has put so many changes in that those sections are rarely used in their entirety

For Elkhart(Road America) I thought I saw some pictures from the late 60's that showed the forest much closer to the track after Canada Corner, probably all the way from the kink til they exit the trees for the last turn. I would like to see a vintage track attempted at some point.
I could list my Can-Am track wish list, but.... :)

Yes it is awesome that it is oldskool track as well as modern race track. I enjoy it a lot, but it has few slow turns too much for my taste. I wish one or two 90deg slow turns were more open or had some decent camber. Anyway, I am enjoying it a lot lately pace prooving 1954 and 1967 cars.

The same person did both :), along with the Riverside, bridgehampton and a couple other tracks that he allowed to made the rF2 conversion
    https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/authors/lilski.218202/

As @Emery said, it is the same layout as it was when the track opened in 1955. There has been a lot of side changes over the years along with the changes to the runoff areas

It would be cool to see if a 1950s or 1960s version could be done using the track surface as a base. Even a 1980s (for the 1985 Indycars)
