I'm pretty sure its the other way around. Will RTX3000 support the existing legacy of applications like rFactor2?
rf2 won't change to ray tracing, but since the card can work in the windows dx enviroment, of course it will work with rF2. If you mean will S397 specifically code to use the new cards to the fullest advantage??? Maybe...in five or six years.... And John snuck his post in just before mine, he has gotten the correct perspective.
I use RFactor2 over "Steam". The new graphic card (RTX 3070) will work with DirectX12 Ultimate. So it should be work in this combination, right ?
</sarcasmmode on>Hey! lets make a new high priced video card. And to ensure we sell lots of them, we'll cut off any system more than a couple of years old. Yeah, we don't want those customers...</sarcasm mode of....oh why bother....>
To be fair to NVIDIA, and yes they are greedy andbyes i own a 1080Ti, if the shown performance is true, they are bringing with rtx3000 cards a pretty improved valu for money compared to rtx2000 series.i mean thats obvious To the OP why would you want to get such card for RF2 specifically? I can run the game at 4k full details with my 1080Ti at locked 60fps no problem
I bought a brand new 2018 Toyota and can you believe a couple months later they came out with a 2019 model! the cheek!!!
Ok maybe then. I am a 4K TV and triple monitor user so I have no idea how bad RF2 runs in VR even with a 2080Ti
It works smoothly for me with a gtx1070 in VR, so I won't change graphics for a long time, at least for rfactor 2
at least toyota never loose its reriability very reliable brand maybe the most reliable japanese mass production car manufucture even today
