I tend to agree with you.... BUT, the problem is AI... If you race online, fine, eveyone got the same, but the AI didn't slow down at all after 20 laps on Brands hatch Indy... while I got more than 1 second pace out after tyres heated up only 8~10 laps.....That makes racing with AI not fun... even if you got pole, you still can only defence (and defencless) aginst them halfway down the race...
rf2 is a simulator based on online racing and competitons. Need for Speed series and many more are games which based on career/story mode. Just saying, nothing serious...really.
Ah ok that's why you can leave it that way, yes? I am also an offline player. And nowhere is it written that rF2 is a pure online competition sim. Why don't you just let Tamas answer for yourself?
It's just my opinion... I just wrote it. Tamas will answer for the question i guess. Take easy, enjoy your weekend!
I recently bought the TCR car pack for rFactor2 ..... I have been providing it for a few days and it seems to me that the wheels slip too much, make strange reactions for my taste, lose grip where they should not or do it in a very sensitive way and they become difficult to drive. I would like to know any more opinions on this, thank you.
I've driven these cars many a time, light and dark, normal course and speedways, they work fine for me. I genuinely can't report a problem with it.
Hello I had the opportunity to test the mod and I found the sensational car worth every penny. But I had a doubt sometimes I feel the car with a tendency to roll over is something normal? Is there a trick to avoid this tendency to want to roll over?
I never felt the same. I saw one time in a video when the car made a roll over, I tried to reproduce but it never succeeded. Maybe it can happen if you use high pressure on the tires, stiff suspension, and on a high grip track.
No matter what you change on the setup, at given moment it will roll over. Even if you do not touch any kerb. And when you touch a kerb, which it's normal in motor racing, the car behaves very unnatural. And by you saying that using high pressure, or stiff suspension that shows that indeed there is a problem. High grip track will never roll you over.
He said "maybe", so it doesn´t show there´s a problem; would be helpfull if you could post a video of the roll and your settings since I haven´t experienced that either (haven´t really tried high pressure nor stiff susp. on these cars)
Hi there. It's absolutely a physics problem. The car rolls too easy, don't even matter what you do in terms of setup. Softer, stiffer, no way... The track its MidOhio. When you touch any of the curbs, you will roll over. But even when you DONT even touch any curb, the car rolls over on T2, T3, T4, T5, T7 and T9. Yes, almost on all track you roll too easy... If you want to see a video, I will try to post tonight.
