    Hello everyone!

    I'm just curious as to what members have their DD2 set for in RF2.

    I'm currently running:
    SEN 360
    FFB 50
    LIN ON
    NDP 25
    NFR 10
    NIN 1
    INT 6
    FEI 100
    FOR 100
    SPR 100
    DPR 100
    ABS Off
    SHO 80
    MPS Auto

    Any recommendations?

    Much appreciated!

    I have the DD1 and what I have been struggling with is which setting to use for smoothing the raw grainy ffb. The Fanatec guide doesn't give a recommended value for INT since it's a beta driver setting. Basically there are 3 ways to smooth out rf2 ffb, in-game you have the FFB Smoothing option and on the wheel you have INT (FFB Interpolation) and FEI. If I crank any of the 3 to max the wheel feels smooth but I don't know what is the difference between the three and what is the correct combination. It's specially bad on the Studio 397 Formula E cars (both 2018 and 2019-2020), horrible oscillations at speed and much more grainy than the other Studio 397 cars. I've had to run in-game FFB smoothing at 32 and INT at 6 just to get rid of the graininess but the oscillations are still there.

    Thanks for the reply! It has been awhile ago that I configured my settings, but I do think I was having the same sort of issue as you are talking about. I did end up with setting INT to 6.

    Question, how would you describe oscillations on are your wheel?

    Btw, ever since I have had the DD2 at launch I have found that none of the recommended settings on Fanatec have been updated.

    So I found out I was getting oscillations because rF2 doesn't seem to like me setting my Steering Wheel Range to 200 (in-game). After I set that option back to 'Vehicle Set' in ended up with. INT at 6 and FEI at 90 and Sensitivity on AUTO.

    I dont use recommended settings on my DD1 I make my own for all the games, because all of this is a bit subjective :)
    Saying that, this is what I did.

    My DD1 FFB is at 90-92% , FEI about 90, no natural damping but some natural friction to get some sort of realistic center turning resistance ... then I adjust things in game, this helps me get rid of the harsh effects actually and its one of the best FFB imo now.

    I run most cars at 0.30 (GT3 and Endurance DLC mainly) and smoothing 3-4 in game. Thats all, this feels awesome.

    Hey,

    Sorry for the late reply. I mainly drive open wheel cars in RF2.
    My settings are as follows:
    RF2_Settings.jpg

    Whenever I drive the Senna for instance I would simply raise the FF.

    Your settings are not like they should with rF2.
    FF -> your choice.
    ABS -> your choice.

    beside of this you can use mine on the screenshot.
    If you dont like the "rough" feel, you can set and increare interpolation, but thas increases latency and reduces details.
