In your Multiplayer.json on your server you have to make sure your "HTTP Server Port":64297, and "Simulation Port":54297, reflect the ports you've opened on your router.

You can open your multiplayer.json in notepad and change the port settings (copy your original to another location first) it's easy.
You've come this far, don't stop now.

Edit:Sorry just saw your reply...disregard this post

Maybe firewall blocking it...close server, delete all rF2 firewall rules, start server and you should get the “do you want to allow access” message when starting. I’ll hang around here for the next half hour or so.

@JimmyT just for info, if someone is hosting on a local network, including the same machine they race on, and their modem/router does not support NAT loopback then to see the server they should use the range 27013-27018 as the http port....this will allow them to see the server in the LAN tab and external clients see it in the WAN tab

Yeah @Goanna , that's what I do but I just clipped the numbers out of my normal client multiplayer.json (as an example of what to look for) which just has the default numbers (I think). My server PC was in use by someone else at the time.

Are you sure that you have port forwarded, my old router had an option for port trigger and port forward, forward worked, trigger didn't. A question about your setup, in a previous post you said something about doing stuff on the modem, and not the router, so how have you got yours all setup.
The way I read it was that internet comes in to your router, then from router to modem, then modem to computer, is that how you're setup?

The router is connected to the modem by a ethernet cable. I expect that it goes like modem-router-computer? Yeah must be as i resetted the router and change the wifi name this week. But i don’t really know how that works. If you have port forwarded do you need to fill in the same port in port triggers?
