I've noticed after being away from rF2 for a while that the AA seems worse than i remember now even in new tracks like Portland with all its new materials and PBR :( I use level 5 yet it's rather bad. Has s397 changed the AA type or is it just that the new materials don't look as clean as they used to?
I used to have such a clean looking rF2 now it's a shimmer fest.
Does anyone have a better option that works better than in game level 5?

AA with level 5 is perfect on my 4K 27" monitor.
    Ok, that's not helpful.
You could experiment with NVIDIA DSR to render the game at 1.2 or 1.5x.
Although do not expect miracles on a 1080p 27" monitor, that's really low pixel density.
I know 4K is not for everybody (and is not viable for triple setup) but it adds so much clarity, especially in the distance.
Theorically you may have better AA if rF2 implemented TAA but then you'd get a blurry mess.

I know 4k is sweet ;) Before my triples i had a 40" 4k monitor at 60cm from my eyes but triples are just so good ! Also i had my 27" triples last time i played rF2 and it didnt look this rough ! 5x AA should be enough  Also other Sims look fine on my 27" 1080p triples .
