I recently had a hard drive failure and lost Rfactor and Rfactor2. I bought both programs 4-5 years ago with ISI. Do I have to buy them again ? there are no links to download them on the website - just Steam.
No, just open Steam and install them. Same with any DLC or other games you’ve bought. Oh wait, if you didn’t switch your original purchase from ISI to Steam it's more difficult.
Seven Smiles didn't read that properly Assuming you were playing very old versions then, don't you still have the installers for them? Your issue will be the license keys obviously, if you didn't back those up you are in trouble. You can't just get the current versions from having the old pre-steam versions. I generally direct people to get in touch with the devs directly, via email or PM or discord chat, in order to see if there's some solution. But the easy option is to pay a reasonable amount for the last 5+ years of development, which you'll notice has changed things for the better - assuming your PC can handle dx11 and higher memory requirements to run smoothly.
