Beeping sound on upshift

    Hi,

    Hopefully someone can help me out with this small issue I currently have. I’m running rFactor2 with a SL1 F1 display and a simucube2 FFB. Whenever the car I’m driving hits the Rev limiter I get an annoying beeping sound to upshift.

    I’ve looked through settings and sound files but can’t find a way to silence this beeping. Does anyone have any suggestions or where I should looking.

    it definitely isn’t anything to do with the SL1F1 as that doesn’t have any sound output. So my guess is the game settings or steering???

    There is no beep sound in the game, so it's something external.

    If you have my drsshiftbeeps plugin you can assign its control and disable the shiftbeeps. But I suspect you'd know if you have that.

    Thanks for you help on this!

    I’ll have another look at it today, my guess is that it will be SRS fans or steering? At least it’s narrowing down the options

    thanks for your help.

    had to update SRS software and select no shift sound for it to work
