Why unsubscribing content don't prevent to donwload the content when doing a fresh new installation?

    What am I missing?
    Thanks

Which content are you trying to unsubscribe from?
If it's paid DLC, unfortunately, you can't unsub from it, it will always download.

    Thanks for the reply.
All the S397/ISI content works in the same way?
Because is a little bothering, I don't want to reinstall the more than 50 elements every time I need to reinstall....

    Hello,

I have the same issue, they are "third party mods" from workshop, not official dlc´s from rfactor/studio397 website.

    Thank you.

3rd party mods should stay un-subscribed once you use Steam to un-subscribe. It is only the paid DLC and custom carsets like the Mclaren Worlds Fastest Gamer cars that are always put back on.

I've used rF2 now for 7 years and have never, ever had to reinstall it, except when it went to steam. Maybe I'm just lucky. The worst I've had to do was move the user data folder out and verify integrity of game files, that was pretty tedious at 0.7 Mb / second I can tell you.

(I think) you can unsubscribe from DLC....

This link should take you to the workshop page for the mcgt3...

    https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1097229192

If you click on "inventory" within steam, click on the dlc you want to remove, there's a link in there to "view in workshop", click that, click the unsubscribe icon.

Yeah @Dave^ you can unsubscribe but it will automatically resubscribe you. That's how you get it to download if your local files become corrupted.
