Thanks for this initiative. I’ll try to prepare offline the Flat 6 @ Watkins Glen planned Friday (I discover the car and the track). Is the track with boot or not ? with chicane or not ? Thank you
Is there a reason you only run one or two races a week? Can it not run three or four races a day, if not infinitely?
We have only 2 servers and 4 supported titles so even if the sytem can run infinitely we prefer not (we do this on our free time for passion with our spare resources), also last time we run multiple events attendance was low so we try to condesate the userbase all in a single event (as example for friday event there are already 20 driver signed).
Would I be right to assume there's too much manual work required to run some events more suited to the eastern hemisphere timezones?
Which time would work for you guys from the eastern hemisphere? we had several request from US too. We can try to arrange something but the problem right now is we are lacking usersmusers and manpower for such timezones (even if the system is automatic we need someone to attend/follow the events in order to help/fix if something goes wrong).
Yeah, the manual aspect makes it difficult. European weekdays make both us and the US (see what I did there? ) difficult, for us (evening) you'd be looking at 9 or 10am in Europe, while the US would be your very early morning. If you could automate it you can somewhat kill two birds with one stone by running something Friday evening US time, and get the Saturday morning crowd from here.
Hey @Lazza The system is automated of course so there is no need of manual intervention really except creating the schedule in JR and when the server auto starts someone (usually one of our admins) makes sure its all good. Rf2 in JR is still WIP though and I still need to map the json settings to the UI (just need to find time). The reason we have no AU or US races is that we did not find enough interested users from these timezones yet. I would be very very keen as live in Brisbane and cannot race with these guys in the EU So if you have any ideas how we can get some ozzies/kiwis together I will be keen to get a server East Coast timezone and organise some events. Though I would need help, like an admin as I take care of all the JR development and usually I dont have time to admin as well. Cheers
I'm signed up and would be raring to go, depending on content. Early days yet but would love to see historics one day.
Had three races so far in JustRace, and everything is brilliant. Frequent well organised non league online racing in rF2 ? Yes please !

What if guys who actually race online a lot and participate in other platforms floods into rF2 right now as there is finally normal understandable rational way to get fix of some good fresh online racing ? And the participation would exceed 28 racers, would there be additional split ?
Do you mean if we can host another server and split the users if exceeded the 28 racers limit for the race? Yeah we should be able to do that but I don't think this will happen very soon
Not recommended to use several servers, if servers get full .... racers could register erlier to not lose their grid position Also rf2 can host servers of more slots.. But happy that rf2 has some place to race continuously ,seriously and FREE, finally. Big thanks to the JR Staff for the effort and its time for us as pilots to show where the real action is!, and I can say that some fast guys are there! PD:But yeah great grid last race with fun and clean action!
