The fact that Skins are using version numbers and therefore "breake" with every update needs to be fixed asap.

So finally finished, the Rebellion # 3 Art Car from Le Mans 2019. As usual its the best I can do with my talent, it is not an exact replica but I must say on track racing it looks ok. Seeing I have done so many of these Rebellions I may as well do the #1 Car so that will be completed some time in the future...

Unpack and install in rFactor 2\UserData\player\Settings

    Hope you enjoy...

IMEHO, I think you should keep the Yokohama decal in if you could, or still leave it out. I've seen skinners put AC logos in place of Gran Turismo logos onto N24 sunvisors and it don't look right - I always say to people, having Michelin decal on a car that carried Yokohamas is going to look as less authentic

In historic racing, most of these cars run on Avons yet they carry Goodyear, Dunlop and Firestone decals, some are whiteprinted on the sidewalls.

I don't really see the Michelin decal on the tires when they are spinning. I would lean on keeping the car decals, but that is just me. It is a good looking skin.

Goodyear is owned by Firestone or Pirelli is it not? Avon must have been swallowed up too I would surmise. (too lazy to check that internet thingy)
The brands probably are only kept alive for marketing to different regions of the world.
(still mad that Goodyear cost Little Al jr. one more CART championship by not providing a tire even close to the Firestones JV had. The last race of the year, at Laguna, Goodyear brought a Qualifying tire. Al jr. could keep pace for about 4 or 5 laps and then fell off a cliff.) Of course his Boss, Roger Penske had a stake in Goodyear, like almost all his partner firms, and wouldn't switch even when Firestone was KILLING the notso-Goodyears)
    But I digress.......
At some point we 'may' be able to skin the tires...who knows? Then having the proper decals already in place on the car would simplify things.
(grmble, grumble, dag-nabbit, dang goody......errrr sorry)

If they are virtual ride installs check the veh file you refer to in the rcd is one from the most recent update for the car from 397 some times they change things and it breaks the skin. Easy way to debug is create a new alt skin make sure it shows then copy one of your skins into that folder rename it as alt it should show good luck

Can you guys tell me the difference between the 3(?) different ways of installing skins? The only thing i know is that MAS files (which i find the most easy) has to be put back into the new car folder every time a car is updated (new version - new folder). The other type is the one you install through packaged (i think?) and that will be there even if a car is updated? Does this version of a skin also come with other stuff like AI names etc if the skinner chooses to add it? I think there's a third way but i have no idea which it is. Cheers.
