I'm pretty sure it's this OMP wheel with their own electronics. Either way, I only needed to know the dimensions, I didn't say I wanted the same wheel. A 32cm wheel would be the closest I have, which should do just fine.

it should be 30cm, it does look simoular to my R8-type steeringwheel, sizewise.

It does look quite big, so 32cm is also not unlikely

I could be wrong but I really think it's the OMP wheel which is supposed to be 31.5cm. It would make sense for them to use this because it's designed to be compatible with AiM dash systems which the car has. Plus a lot simpler than having to manufacture their own steering wheels for what is likely a very limited production of these compared to the road cars.

Edit: this is the wheel https://www.ompracing.com/en_gb/car-kart-parts/steering-wheels/310-alu-gt.html

I'm tempted to just buy the OMP wheel because it's pretty cool, but I wouldn't use any of the cutouts or holes, so it would be a waste, plus I have about a dozen wheels lying around and don't need to add to the pile.

I researched so long I didn't saw your post above mine  I measured the steeringwheel size with the help of the display size and the result was it has to be something around 31cm to 32cm ... which was weird and I never heard of a steeringwheel with that size, but now it matches perfectly with your research xD

So yes you are right, that's definitely the omp steeringwheel, it's 100% simoular and they just created a own buttonbox for it.

Looks pretty dope, but I'm also gonna stay with my 30cm steeringwheel for this one, close enough :D

One thing I noticed is that watching the replays with this car trackside there is a constant tyre screech sound effect, seems like an audio bug.

This is a great car but please pay attention in VR, these lights hurt me when I am wearing the glasses and driving in the night.
M2SCNight.jpg And the not visible in monitor part is empty, no pedals, no devices in the right side and behind, only white metal.
Very poor details in VR, plese resolve it. Maybe the car is not finished.
    Many thanks

Fellow VR user here, that's true for most cars. Really makes me feel bad for spending money on them. It's the weakest sim with VR support in that regard.

The majority of cars from the past two years suit me personally.

    It is mainly this car.

In particular the metal which does not seem very realistic and little detailed to me.

like he Radical SR3 XX 2020, I feel like a kart on the ice.....good feeling at braking, but in corner, I have a so weak FFB....compared to the Reiza rF2 bundle, the s397 cars are a deception....

Truth is that i dont have a right ffb feeling with this car too. It rumbles too much on brakes and the ffb is very light and not informative about the road.

The mcr feels nice. No problem about it. The only issue i have with some reiza cars is that even if you disable horizon stabilization (and head physics too) dash is bumpy (while it should not be). Mcr2000, metalmoro mr18 and puma 052 are 3 of those cars. This is very obvious in some tracks like Sebring and very distractive..

There may be other cars but haven't tested all.

I am sure they need a small adjustment (hope in next update).

    Just a few observations.
The CS comes with a 7 sp DCT gear box or 6 sp Manual.
You guys have given us the 7 speed with a final top ratio 2.318.
Somehow, if you look at your gearing, each gear cuts in every 50kph???
That is completely unrealistic. The car has an estimated top speed of 284 kph (178 mph), yet
7th gear starts at 300 kph??? WTAF???
Plus, brake shudder (using a T500) is insane. At 50% pressure, the shudder is immense.
I fear trying the pressure above 70% would probably break my wheel!!!

Come on guys. Surely you can't be happy with this?
How BMW signed off on this is beyond a mystery...
It's supposed to be a sim remember.
    Please fix.

As mentioned above on outside sounds the m2 has tyre screech like sound even i straight line.
Also both internal and external audio is quite far from real car.
It should sound similar to M4 in ACC but it sounds more like NA straight 6.

I would say for a lot of brands, a few screenshots and a video clip is enough for them to sign off and then go back to browsing the internet at work :D

I can't imagine too many licensing departments installing a sim, configuring it, and driving the car around and comparing it to blueprints and spec sheets.

I wonder how the BMW accelerates/brakes without pedals... [IMG]
