    My comment was meant only in the context stated. I wasn't referring to this mod.

    He didn't said that detailed, I will try to get more feedback, but he said this mod is good, better than other mod. And yes I said I assumed that what he said was about the sim racing game itself, all sim racing 'game' maybe not 'real' compare to real thing. But in my side, I think modders and yes studio 397 can push hard to achieve a more 'real' feeling or behavior of a car, in what virtual world limited to do, just like what Marco and Chris have done to bring the good car to us. So I want to recommend it to my friends and the real driver and get some feedback, maybe that can help to make the mod better and more 'real'. And the problem (maybe question is more suitable here) what I said about FFB on high speed is some, a player's feeling, I don't know if the real car should behave like this on high speed, so I asked here, Not criticism.
    Sorry about my English and explanation maybe cause some misunderstanding.

    @zxd1997 the FFB is great, no complains on my side. With CSW 2.5 it feels stiff and living with lots of details. Maybe a little clipping under heavy loads
    SEN = aut
    FF=80
    Sho=100
    ABS=95
    DRI= -03
    For=100

    Once again thank you very much for thew interest in the mod and the very detailed info and discussion to have always a better feeling and to help in improving any detail. All of you know that for us is the best rewards to our free job!

    In conclusion there are pros and cons for the whole scenario...
    I also think that any game that tries to "emulate" a sim in several aspects could be far from driving a real car for tens and tens of reasons, like the hardware (who can buy a professional hardware?) and then for the settings and then for the personal feeling and and and... and also for the mod itself and yes, for the lack of code, no doubt. But I can say that rF2 is already very complex and difficult in the code like it is now! Everything can be improved, but we can't be too much exigent, otherwise we must use different hardware and different software where the goal is different from what a game can achieve.

    At the same time my hope is that a day S397 will recall the pending points in the todo list of the physics, to finally improve the whole weather environment and this will be a great step ahead in the realism for online and offline racing. Personal opinion only, of course and maybe OT, LOL

    I would confirm that we'll continue to improve the mod and in the last weeks I was in contact with Mr.D, much more than usual, because he is following much more the tests due to more available time and we are working on the new data we got (post #252), but without forgetting that in the end this is a game! Just for instance... the F3 has several available springs and bars, I mean spare parts that can be installed in the real car; well, we could add them as options into the tuning menu, but it could be a nightmare for using the appropriate set without technical knowledge, it could be a nightmare for online races forcing a set instead of another one, etc. etc.... so my choice was to limit the almost unlimited options using the "default" choice like the Dallara manual suggests.

    ok, yesterday me and another fellow had problems with the car mirrors. Virtual three are fine, but the right and left are showing the same sometimes - Schrödingers mirror :D. Never had that before, i was able to get it right more or less, the other guy not. Can you plz check the default ... angles ... values ... whatever ? :)
    Apart from that - so much fun to drive! One of the best and predictable simulated cars i have driven the last years, just hop in and race, everything feels natural. Thank you!

    Can you please tell us on which Track it happened AND which Mirror Adjustment Settings (Ctrl/Alt + Seat Key) you did use, that we can try to reproduce it?
    No :)

    Checked and found the mistake on right mirror that was mirrored to the left one... good catch!
    Thank you, I already fixed it and it will be added to the next build.

    We are working on checking aero, performing tests (thanks @Lazza) with the help of DAMPlugin and comparing real data vs. aero maps we generated... it will take time because we need to analyze a lot of data and then "compacting" all data into few values that rFactor2 can manage. Maybe in the end of the process we could discover that new values will be very similar to the current ones, atm I can confirm that "drag" in all conditions is same of real car = 99%-100%!

    We are also working on 3D of the rear car end (rear suspensions, gearbox, etc...) and we have already fixed some inconsistency (thanks @Nicola59) in the rear suspension geometry.

    But in the meantime, thanks to the full permission to use and modify the 3D given by @alesanchez (ASR Formula) we took the decision to change the driver and its animation, to finally have a much realistic driver and with a better position in the cockpit, closed to the real life, a better animation and better gloves! The driver is the conversion and rework of the Assetto Corsa driver (with full permission of Kunos), with the animation made by @McNolo for ASR Formula few years ago.
    Having the original 3dMax file, we have allowed the rain drops on both suit and gloves and adapted it to our Formula 3 also improving the realism with little adjustment to the position of the seat, helmet, steering wheel, that now are exactly the same of the real car on the driver body size average.

    We have also remade the templates for suits and gloves and it means that we need now to repaint all suits and gloves... (in few cases we have the chance to modify painted gloves, already available on the web). It is another hard job, but the mod deserves this great improvement!

    ops, I forgot to say that using the new driver we have now perfect sync with default values and settings between any device and the steering wheel at monitor (the one of the mod)!

    We are now closed to the first event in Austria of the 2020 season and... we are closed to the release of the new WIP BETA build 0.8 that will bring to you several improvements on 3d and graphics side, but also few adjustments to the physics and a new suggested default setup.

    Below the list ONLY of the main changes:
    - updated ALL skins
    - new calipers
    - new rear suspensions
    - added ride sensor
    - new gearbox
    - updated rear wing and its mech parts
    - new oil lines
    - updated underfloor
    - added oil tank, hydraulics, rear springs, engine
    - fixed no default value into packers settings!
    - updated MBSS and all physics files
    - replaced windscreen/mirror rain drops
    - replaced driver + suit + gloves + anm with new one into all cars
    - repositioned driver + anm + seat + seat belt + helmet + steering wheel
    - updated cockpitinfo
    - changed default CoG into garage
    - fixed inverted mirrored right mirror
    - updated F319SHADOW
    - updated ride height anmd some rear suspensions values
    - updated bias direction sticker into steering wheel
    - added "Scipts" folder that replace the original rF2 to allow use of customized pitcrew

    Further planned improvements will be to develop other 3d items, to update skins after the first events of the season and fine tuning the aero depending of the results of the comparative tests with the mod vs. the wind tunnel data of the real car. Of course they will be little adjustments to the physics, as already detailed in previous posts. As last we'll work to finalize the whole structure of the mod and it will be a long and meticulous job also to have a better overall look of the cars.
