Mikel Azcona is a friend´s friend, when COVID is over I want to bring him over to my place and let him try these cars and give his opinion, I´m sure he´ll love them.

it would be nice to feel more power in the traction and thus be able to control the traction with the accelerator! :)

    I feel the same.
But I think there are 2 parts of this issue
    1. the default setting just make the front wheel goes hot very quick.
With some simple trick like pressure it to over 200kpa, lower camber and more brake to rear, it's better
    But
    2. the grip still lose too much with surface temperature over 90C
While in the setting it shows the optimal temp is 85.9C, I think that should be "Core temperautre". I can run with the core temp nicely at 80~90 after 3~4 laps, but when braking and turning, the temp show on HUD aka the surface temp will go up to 110+ and even 140+ if pushing hard, that makes me loss a lot grip. My pace with default setting is like +5sec after 2 lap, and still +3~4sec. with my setting after 3~4 laps.

Bought this pack today after much self debating. Its good, very good. The tyre temp issue is a downside BUT the quality of the mod is top notch. My biggest thing with it though is accuracy. The NGTC BTCC Civic that was brought to rFactor 2 behaves exactly how id expect and how touring cars look to behave when watching real footage. But these things feel slightly too planted. Not much you can do to get it wrong in terms of oversteer off throttle into corners during weight transfer which everyone knows fwd touring cars love to try swap ends on you when off throttle turning into a corner.

    Other than that its brilliant.

Just a little pointer here. Everyone has been saying there is an issue with tyre heat etc. Just go use the ISI Clio Cup car. Front tyres behave in the exact same way as they do in this mod. So maybe there isnt much up with them at all?

Not everyone, and the tires already reworked, and there are sprint and endurance tires. The sprint tires can handle easily 60-70km if you looking after the tires in the corners. Some league used this mod, and they don't have problem with the tire heat, which is mostly depend on the driving style, like on the real sprint races.

The drive is on the front axle, the highest weight is also on the front axle. Plus the braking force. The FWD vehicle has all negative loads at the front tires.
= ARB softer in the front. Feathers softer in the front. Adjust ARB Spring harder at the rear.
Can anyone say something about Toe in and out? I never fully understood that today. Only a little more toe out at the back so that the rear gets some life. And work with feeling on the brakes .

Here the most of the pictures are from in-game, the preview in the shop is from a showroom. That's why the difference.

    Just a question...

This mod uses the most recent tire model or not?

    Thanks in advance!

The most recent that's available to modders. Don't think the tire model on the most recent s397 cars is available for public use.

The basic is a modified final version from the tire database.
