    Hi.

I moved my RF2 folders and having moved them back, the game says it's no longer activated.
As the ISI servers area apparently long dead, does anyone know which file has changed that I can try to change it back?

I haven't signed in or logged in since I installed the game.

I don't want to lose this content, but if I can't get it back working, that's 100GB and a decade of fun down the pan...

Is there any way without buying the whole game again on STEAM?

    C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\.rFactor

Have a look if this folder still exists

Hi, thanks Lazza, I've emailed Studio 397 but not heard anything. I was hoping it was an issue others have dealt with before.

I had an old ISI installation which broke when I switched some components in my PC. As far as I know, once the game requires re-activation there is no way of getting the product activated anymore since the license servers are gone as you mentioned. You can always move the old content to a fresh Steam installation though, all mod packages should still be more or less compatible since rF2 has maintained good backwards compatibility. Same story with most user files. All it takes is time :).

    Thanks Stonec.

I'm guessing that the fresh installation of RF2 would have to paid for?
