I saw a tweet on my phone stating Toyota's Hybrid would be joining the 24hr virtual race announced last week. (can't find it at home tho) They used the official logo of the race and claimed Toyota is the 2nd major manufacturer announced for the race(the first being Ferrari).... So, is this the Hypercar or the TS050? OK, just saw some clarification online at Sportscars 365. Toyota will participate, but use the Oreca 07 with factory skins. .. sigh..anyhow! WOW! More manufacturers are linking up with rF2! https://sportscar365.com/lemans/lemans24/toyota-porsche-confirm-virtual-24h-le-mans-involvement/

I've never been able to un-tie the Toyota racing name with a childhood cartoon character(The Flintstones). Whenever I see Toyota Gazoo, this is what I think of first:
If this helps build a relationship between S397 and Toyota, even if it's a simple skin at the moment, then I can only see it being a good thing, who knows it might help lead to the Lexus RC F GT3 showing up in a future update.
On rf2 we have all nz tracks of toyota nz racing series and related tatuus car So... We already have a collaboration from toyota gazoo and s397
I'm pretty sure most of that was done in collaboration with Engineering Consult in Germany and not with Toyota.
Yes, but in all nz tracks note you can read Manfeild circuit Chris Amon V1.22 was build for rFactor 2 from scratch based on GPS and real car data by Engineering Consult by WVK GmbH in 2019 based on the idea by Toyota Gazoo New Zealand and Tatuus
