Hi just wondered if the demo on steam is a good reflection on the game play and graphics quality. Theres mixed reviews on steam saying the demo is old.
As far as I can tell the demo was updated at least once since moving to DX11 back in 2018 for v1.1111, and rFactor 2 now on v1.1117. So, gameplay should be similar, but graphics quality and performance has changed a bit since then. For instance, the MP4/13 now uses the new material shaders as shown in this news post from February. I think they would do good if they updated the demo after the new UI is finished with the competition system finished. Do a combo that is free in the game too, and if they want to race in the competition system, they must buy the full game. But it using the old tech without the improvements just is bad press
