Would love to see those small fixes added to AIs : 1) AI Strength: Can you make AI Player (when you toggle I key to let AI drives your car) strength linked to AI Strength instead of being stuck to 100% ? Useful if you want to go over 100% AI Strength so your AI Player can be on par with other AIs. 2) FCY: Make the AIs go single file and use the racing line (fastest path) instead of left/right path. Would be great if it was an option for rolling start too en lieu of double line. Make the safety car use the racing line as well rather than inside path. 3) Blue flag behaviour: Can you smooth down AI behaviour under blue flag ? Currently they jump off the line abruptly as if they were seeing you at the last moment. Not realistic and more than often they end up hitting a wall. I believe these are small fixes easy to implement (maybe not the latter though). Hopefully we can have them in game. Thank you
@Marcel Offermans I did 3 races (tried) earlier with 3 different Tatuus on 3 different UNOFFICIAL circuits. It was a butchery, yet I learned to be very careful and fair play, especially during the first 3 laps. I started the race about ten times for each race. The damage was of course settled on 100%. But frankly it was unplayable. Conversely, I had an exciting race yesterday with the 2019 Audi GT3 and all the GT3s. Also yesterday I had a lot of problems with AI on other races. My settings: 90/25/5 and stock player.json. Today's circuits were blackwood + autopolis + .... I can't remember!
Racing against artificial intelligence is entirely subjective, everyone has different experiences. Not to mention that there are many variables to take into account (talent files, AIW, AI parameters and Ai settings residing with MAS). Tagging probably won't help you here as the underlying issue is elsewhere. We do, however, have oustanding bugs that do need Marcel's attention (such as FCY, cars not overtaking when intending to pit and slipstream).
The problem of AI hitting you without any valid reason is a major and recurring problem. It break many races.
You do realise that without opinions you basically have no forum. If you don't want opinions, go write up a blog or whatever is the flavour of the month. Also you topic is about AI and all the posts have mentioned the AI plus it's in the wish list forum, not as if you're reporting a bug Everyone post has mentioned the AI, except one. Two actually but we won't count him.
Hi. What I said is complementary, and I think is of major importance regarding AIs. Your points raised are interesting so.
I do understand what is a forum and it's purpose But asking for miracles or endlessly asked fixes doesn't add to the wish list. And two out of four is a quite large number, right ?
