this is from my Lotus 98 Cpit.ini LapsFont=Lotus_98T_FONT // defaults to FONTREAD LapsBackground=98t_lapsbk // defaults to READOUT.BMP LapsScale=(0.4, 1.2) // how big to draw the font onto the background SpeedFont=Lotus_98T_FONT SpeedBackground=98t_speedbk SpeedScale=(0.9, 1.2) PlaceFont=Lotus_98T_FONT PlaceBackground=98t_placebk PlaceScale=(0.4, 1.2) FuelLevelDigitFont=Lotus_98T_FONT // defaults to FONTREAD FuelLevelDigitBackground=98t_fuelbk // defaults to READOUT.BMP FuelLevelDigitScale=(0.9, 1.2) // how big to draw the font onto the background
Thanks for help. Works now But I want to improve the position of the texts. If I move the UVW Map of the background in 3ds max, will the texts follow?
I was able to add some functions on the steering wheel LCD by naming the material LEDFY for yellow flag LEDFB for blue flag LEDFR for black flag LEDPSY for pit LEDLF for low fuel But I want for other functions green flag pit limiter Does anyone know the code?
Btw, I am trying to work on mapping, but I just want to show respect to Darci for doing all the work on the in game process!!! Thank you!
for myself no, I have been crazy busy with my freelance work so no time to adres what needs addressing on the model (like mapping to have shaders so it doesn't look as flat as it does right now)
Honestly a lot of credit goes to @darcidm done an amazing job with someone who seriously has no clue when it comes to anything being put in game or texturing/mapping there is a version working in game atm though
Great to see the community coming together to work on these things. I`m trying to learn to model myself but I`m finding it a slow process. Anyway, delighted to hear this is progressing. Will keep my eye on this. Best of luck with it.
I want to continue, but my knowledge and lack of time is holding me up. I know how to model decently, but not how to map properly and ad shaders via mapping. That is basically holding the project up. Dracidm has done a lot of the work for the in game progress, but the lack of a proper look is down to me now because of that shading (adding shadows)
I`m sure things will come together even if it does take a bit of time. We all have other real life things we need to do. I`m glad you`re getting the help you need though. Stick with it... I`m sure it`ll all come together nicely and it`ll be a good learning process.
