    Hi everyone.

Lately, I've been having issues during races with microstuttering which hasn't been too bad but I have noticed my FPS is fine but at times I seem to get the microstutter or bad frame pacing but as I say, my FPS is fine and doesn't drop but I run V-Sync my game runs smooth.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated and my PC specs can be found below.

    Windows 8.1
    i5 4570
    8 GB RAM
    Nvidia Geforce 980TI (6 GB)

CTRL + C to see processor usage, if the first pink bar is more than 50%, you have a problem.

    1. You can look at "windows task manager >> details" to see if there is another application using alot processor too, and kill these app.
    2. Another cause could be the number of AI cars you are putting on the track, to calculate the physics rF2 uses alot of CPU, then race against less AI cars. If you're playing online, this is not the problem, because each player calculates your own car physics.

About the v-sync, i don't like it, i prefer to limit FPS to 120, feels more smooth for me.

Just for comparison, my PC is:
    Windows 10
    i5 4690
    16 GB RAM
    Nivida Geforce 970 (4 GB)

Do you run in fullscreen, windowed or borderless mode?

Just a bit more info about the CPU graph.
    The pink bar represents physics
    The green bar represents graphics

As @ebeninca wrote, you do not want the pink line to go too far to the right.
If the pink line does go all the way to the right that is when everything falls out of real time and you'll get game freezes etc.
In other words the CPU OD'd on data and went on strike for being over worked.

The green line can go all the way to the right without need for you to worry.
If your frame rate is uncapped, no Vsync etc you should expect the line to go all the way to the right.
If you look at the screenshot of ebeninca's graph you'll notice it doesn't go all the way right.
That's because he has a 120FPS limit set.

I do remember there was a description of the graphs vertical lines and where it falls along the horizontal.
Where it is I don't remember, yet.

I'll link to the thread and just quote some of it.

    That should do it.

Borderless mode, so I can alternate windows without crashing the game.

I can't remember the last time alt tab crashed rF2 with my triples at fullscreen.
Unfortunately as we know, that doesn't mean it's the same for everyone.
