Another one.... When comparing laptimes against another driver, would it be possible to only show the car/track combos where both of you have set a time, rather than a full list of all the laps you've each run individually? Or possibly just organising them so they're at the top, perhaps?
I'm currently busy converting the site over to a newer django release as support for python 2.7 and the current release end in 2020, so that'll keep me busy for a while...thanks for the suggestion, I'll take a look! Uwe
I'll be updating the components in question (Python, django web framework) on another webserver this weekend. If everything works as advertised I'll then proceed to the rf2 server. Cheers, Uwe
Hi folks, I'll update the server with the new django / python version over the coming week, so some downtime is expected. Thanks for your patience & all the best, Uwe
Hi folks, the site has been updated and seems to be working ok. Some issues may creep up though that I didn't catch during testing, so we might be bouncing between "production" and "maintenance" mode over the next couple of days. As always, please report any issues here or to the email address found on the site. Thanks! All the best, Uwe
New tracks added: Nuerburgring GP Track Portland International Raceway (all layouts) Highway Motorsports Park Cheers, Uwe
@hoover I returned to the S397 Porsche GT3 Cup (the version with no assists) and started fiddling with the setup to try to get faster. It worked to some extent, but my lap times now appear under "/ GT3Cup-SuperCup", whereas they used to be listed under "GT3 GT3 Cup". Is this an intentional change to the Car labels?
The last few days, when I try to upload my career.blt, I get this message: "Somethings broken, the admins have been notified." What have I missed? Thanks.
@MarkJames: I'm not aware of any car name changes that were made recently. @jimagn: I'll take a look, thanks for the heads-up! Is anyone else having this problem?
EDIT: The upload error seems to have to do with weird unicode characters in your career.blt file. Can you please check the file for any accented characters & the like? @SevenSmiles: would it be possible to have the create_file.exe python script to convert these characters? I've checked and it might be possible to read those utf characters but it'd be probably easier if they got thrown out of the input file in the first place.
I’ll have a look. I’ve had similar problems in the past so I probably have code I can re-use. @hoover @jimagn Can one of you send me the career.blt for testing?
Please try re-uploading, I modified the "open" call slightly to default to the utf-8 charset. Cheers, Uwe
PS: After some googling I've changed the open call to use a different encoding. Can you please try uploading again?
