Cool! I can't wait. I think the 83 BT52 -this car's younger, slimmer less wingy brother - is the one of the most beautiful F1 cars ever made. It looked like a shark getting ready to devour the entire field of fat F1 cars. They swapped the colours later in the season to the iconic blue over white of this early version's white over blue.
Yeah, the first season after the wing cars. Piquet will be the first F1 Turbo world champion in a car from the genius Gordon Murray! Great battle between the two Ferrari drivers René Arnoux and Patrick Tambay, Alain Prost in the Renault and Nelson Piquet in Brabham-BMW. Also the last non turbo victories from Michele Alboreto in Tyrrell, Keke Rosberg in Williams and John Watson in McLaren...all cars with the glorious Cosworth engine. I am very excited about your work!!
Although the particular Dallas race car had a slightly different config due to the high atmospheric temperatures:
Muhaha...thank you for the wrong picture, redvaliant! So with that I am startet... in this case, sorry for of topic! ;-)
I know. Was just pointing out the earlier car as the origin of the 1984 car. The oil radiator in the nose of the BT53 burnt the feet of the drivers and was moved in the later updates,,,oww!
I was thinking that the wing is the ugliest thing I have ever seen on a race car! It looks like it’s towing a caravan. Chacun à son goût
Very nice 1984 Brabham Chief!!! I must admit that, as well as EMY, I would like to see 1997, or 1987 cars (these are some of my favourite years, along 1986, You did an incredible mod!!), but 1984 was also a pretty nice year. With this Brabham, Nelson Piquet couldn't defend his 2nd world championship against the super McLaren TAG-Porsche, but still managed to win 2 races that year, Canada and USA Detroit. So beautiful this deep blue/white Brabham, keep up your awesome work!! Cheers
Tried to find an equivalent from the can am days. I know I have seen photos in books of a double winged car, but finding an image on the net is.....
